Hi, I’m Marie.

I can’t tear cling wrap straight to save my life. My roommate has four paws and a tail. I lip sync to any music I’m listening to, and I’ve started singing and dancing along before realizing I’m in public more often than I care to admit. I sing soprano in my church choir. I’ve knit stuffed animals for my baby cousins and cat toys for my family’s cats. My printed handwriting is near perfect, but only so I can read it when I get sloppy.

Oh yeah, and I write. Obsessively. Constantly. For nearly twenty years now I’ve been spending all my free time writing, mostly fantasy and science fiction but branching out more and more, though I can be picky about who gets to read any of it. It’s about time I start sharing. I’m sad that I’ve misplaced the zany story I dictated to my preschool teacher. My personal blog has as much creative writing as I can find time to include, usually one short story a week.

I’m disabled with chronic pain of the daily migraine and fibromyalgia varieties, along with the related issues that come with that territory. I don’t plan to write much about that in this particular blog, though I may start some sort of “writing with health issues” articles at some point.
